Steele, Jennifer and Sawadu have begun the 2024 Programs with some modifications due to the heat wave conditions. Conversation, Connections and engagement have replaced Small sided games and related programs. ACCL/Aspire team brings some cool water and hydration with them to support Live Well Learn Well Lead Well Programs and together we offer a safe space to yarn and build trust and safe spaces.
As the weather starts to become more comfortable, the ACCL/Aspire team will start the ACTIV8 multi- sport modified activities with lots of fun activities to be involved with. This program is delivered at Shang Park each Wednesday 3.30pm – 4.30pm. Join Jennifer. Steele and Sawadu and have some fun.
On Thursday – Hockey Fun Zone will be delivering Hookin2Hockey Programs after school and everyone is welcome to this after school program. Steele, Sawadu and Jennifer deliver a great Introductory Hockey Program in a safe and trusted space at Cairns West State School 2.45pm – 3.45pm.
Park to Club/ School to Club Programs
If you want to play hockey on Friday afternoon – Under 8 and Under 10 or Saturday Morning for U12 and above Junior competition, ask Steele Jennifer or Sawadu to tell you how you can be involved.
