A Healthy Start

Providing Indigenous children with a healthy start to life is fundamental to success in school and employment opportunities. Equally, the investment in school and employment, as well as a connection to land and culture and safe communities, help support better health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Finding Balance

For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, good health is more than the absence of disease or illness; it is a holistic concept that includes physical, social, emotional, cultural, and spiritual wellbeing, for both the individual and the community. Aspire to be Deadly Live Well Program is designed to provide an understanding that balancing healthy eating choices and regular exercise can improve longer term and support stronger future choices
